Having steamboat in a cold weather would be one of the best choice. Being in Genting Highlands, we had finally entered one of the delicious Steamboat Restaurant called – Beauty In The Pot ( 美滋锅).The Singaporean Brand Steamboat Restaurant under Paradise Group of Restaurant would definitely won’t disappoint you with the luxurious steamboat. Why it is called beauty in the Pot is because their broth is full with collagen where they added in premium ingredients to the soup to enrich the taste and the effect as well. And this place is simply a long queue where we are there around 12 pm and the queue with at least 20- 30 pax. And this restaurant added some love to their hotpot restaurant where they have a play area for the kids to play and run around. So, it would not be too bored for the kids to wait as well as not bugging you all the time.

Following the Meiji Restoration, when Japan opened its doors to the world in the 19th century, cuisine from many different countries flooded into the country. This cuisine then gradually merged with Japan’s own traditional cuisine. It was during this period of transition, in 1886, that a Western food restaurant called “Yayoi-ken” opened in Tokyo’s Kayabacho. This much-loved restaurant, to which we trace our roots, played a hand in introducing to many people a whole new world of food. This, then, is the origin of contemporary Japanese food culture

The PUTIEN brand traces its roots to its namesake city of Putian – a beautiful coastal suburb in Fujian, with rich cultural history and storied tradition since its settlement over almost one and a half millennium ago. It is, after all, the birthplace of the goddess Mazu and the fabled Southern Shaolin Kungfu, among many other legendary tales. Seated against majestic mountains and facing the vast ocean, Putian is blessed with bountiful harvests from land and sea. Its humble people offered only their best produce to honour God, ancestors and country. Every precious yam plucked from the earth; every prized yield of seaweed; every tug and pull to produce the world’s best vermicelli; these were heartfelt toils born of modesty and moving sentimentality. Modern Putian cuisine therefore carries the essence of its people from ages past – unpretentious, simple and pure

An Viet comes with the beautiful interior and also bringing you the authentic Vietnamese delights is indeed a restaurant not to be missed. A new eatery that opened up for business not long ago, taking up the premise that is used to be MBG Fruit Shop; a casual restaurant serving authentic Vietnamese street food. I was attracted by its soothing ambiance that is decorated with lots of vintage and wood element; and also their philosophy. An Viet’s aim is to get people to “eat” their food and reduce food wastage in response to the shocking amount of the food that goes to the waste, that comes to about 1/3 of the food produced for human consumption globally. In order to reduce food wastage, we can customize the carbo portions that suit our appetite. For rice vermicelli or noodles, one can choose 80g, 100g, 120g, 140g, or 160g and as for Vietnamese rice, one can choose the portion of rice at 120g, 160g or 200g
