Nasi Ulam
Nasi Ulam (Small: RM 28;Large : RM 45) ; a traditional dish where the steamed rice dish mixed with various herbs, especially the leaves of pegagan, vegetables, spices as well as added with the daun kaduk, onions and pucuk gajus in it. Added with shrimps in the dish itself; the taste is much more fragrant.
The Nyonya Eggplant
The Nyonya Eggplant (Small: RM23, Large: RM 33) is something special to me; as I nearly forgotten about the nyonya dish which is usually served by grandma. Since moving to KL , I almost forget about this dish and regains lots of memories when it is served. With the tamarind juice added to the nyonya eggplant and cooked for hours, the eggplant is soft and absorb with the flavors from the gravy itself. Is such an appetizing delights to try off when you are in Little Heritage House.
Assam Tumis
The mouth watering Assam Tumis, which is served with Sting Rays is just awesome. Filled with the sourish blend of sweet sour curry, the gravy is comes slightly ticker than the usual asam pedas we had. The stingray comes fresh without any fishy taste in it leaving the dish even better. Topped with the thinly shredded bunga kantan on top.

Otak Otak
The otak otak is made by mixing fish paste with a mixture of spices. In Indonesia, the mixture typically contains fish paste, shallots, garlic, scallions, egg, coconut milk, and also the sago flour in it. Creamy blend and melts in the mouth too.
Jiew Hu Char
The Jiew Hu Char (Small: RM 35; Large: RM 55) does not impress me much as I still love mum’s cooking. Using the shredded mengkuang, cucumber, mushrooms and minced chicken in it; it is well stir fried and served with turnips and sambal chili. Wrapped the ingredients together with turnips, and then directly munch it. For much more flavors, add some sambal chili with it to give you the umph of spiciness. I love the sambal chili which give me a kick of spiciness in it.
Bubur Pulut Hitam
The hearty bowl of sumptuous with black glutinous rice & mata kucing fruits is served warm. Not too sweet ; the blend is just perfect and soothing too.
Sago Gula Melaka
Being a big fans of Sago Gula Melaka ( RM 9.00); the desserts is such a crowd pleasing choice where the sago is different from the usual one we had which is all stuck together. The awesome gula sago Melaka is slightly different where the sago is dispersed out and their santan was not too heavy. I am really tempted with it and a bowl is never enough and as so I bought another take away home to indulge till the fullest.
Tamarind Fried/ The Asam Prawns
Huge prawns complete with freshness and well marinated is just superb. The sauce compliments very well with the prawns and its sauce is well infused into the prawns too. Such a great delights to go in Little Heritage House. Sinfully addictive !
Chendol
The Little Heritage House’s version comes with chendol and kidney beans. Huge kidney beans with springy jelly noodles added in to it. The chendol is well served with the smooth and soft ice and it is not too sweet which is just perfect for my liking.
LoBak
The pork free LoBak (RM 20.00) is another dish which is good too. The lobak is well wrapped with loads of ingredients in it where we can see that they had put loads of meat in it. The meat comes moist and juicy with the slight crispiness on its skin where the lobak is being deep fried till brown before its being served.
Nyonya Curry Chicken
Nyonya Curry Chicken (Small:RM35, Large: RM55) is pretty normal in Nyonya food. Nothing much to shout about as the curry chicken comes more to the thicker gravy with fragrant spices in it. In Little Heritage House, they use the drumstick and thigh meat to serve their customer. It doesn’t give much spiciness in it.
Ais Kachang
The well shaved ice will the smooth texture of ice and topped with the scrumptious ingredients on top. You can find the huge red beans, cubes jelly and more in a bowl. Not too sweet; we love the shaved ice which is well done giving a great texture and a hearty bowl of ingredients. I love it as it is being topped with the nutmeg on top.
Kiam chye ark
The Kiam chye ark comes well with the hearty and momorable dish to be enjoyed. The salty richness of the soup goes well with a simple bowl of steamed white rice. Each item in the soup is such a flavorful and appetizing one to tempt our tastebuds.
Sotong Sambal petai
Sotong Sambal petai comes well with the stinky beans with it. Stir fried till perfection with the stinky bean, squids as well as thick sambal paste together. You love it or hate it! I love it as the stinky beans is imported and it’s those better quality beans. Crunchy bites with the minimal stinky taste with it.
